Sandals in January

My life is far from perfect but I know what it is to be very close to perfectly happy. Like today. We all ate breakfast together. Thanks for the cranberry muffins, Ken and for setting the table, Graeme. Both children kissed me good-bye before going to school. I painted the gold trim on Justin's headboard. Open-toed sandals were the perfect choice for my outfit AND the weather. I rode the city bus for free. Thank you, La Sierra student ID. And I ate my brown bag lunch with Ken at a sunny outdoor table.
