The Muse is Back!

This past weekend the Muse returned and I attacked our kitchen table.
First I scraped off the polka dots and sanded the surface smooth.
Then I primed the top and sides.
Next came pink and magenta checks along the side.
After that I sliced up three old maps and fixed them in broad slashes across the table with decoupage.

I sealed the entire creation with six coats of polyurethane.
Now to cure for a day or two before we return to dining as usual. Or not... Pin It
